Security Specialist - Cloud

About the role

This position involves providing strategic leadership in cloud security governance across AWS and Azure environments, ensuring security posture, risk management, compliance, and continuous monitoring. The role includes overseeing security asset governance, firewall management, and risk remediation programs, while driving accountability across technical and business teams to address cloud security risks.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement security baselines, policies, and control frameworks for cloud and AI adoption.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to embed security into platform strategies and enterprise cloud initiatives.
• Manage delivery of Cyber Managed Services, ensuring high‑quality execution, incident management, and operational governance.
• Oversee change, release management, and offshore/onshore delivery coordination to mitigate risks and ensure continuous service improvement.
• Develop security metrics, dashboards, and executive reports to track governance performance.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum eight years of cybersecurity experience, including leadership in cloud security, governance, risk management, and security operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Expertise in AWS, Azure, CSPM/CNAPP platforms, IAM, firewall governance, and enterprise risk management.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, lead remediation efforts, and drive risk reduction.
• Strong technical knowledge and experience managing large‑scale cloud security programs.
