SECURITY SPECIALIST in the Corporate Business & Analysis Group, Security Department of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of comprehensive Security Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent and effective security practices across all levels of security (SAP, SCI, collateral).
- Actively participate in and often lead command-supported security exercises and activities, contributing significantly to the command's overall security posture.
- Serve as a technical authority and mentor, providing guidance and direction to other security personnel while working cross-organizationally through the department.
- Attend security meetings and mandatory training sessions scheduled by the security manager or Branch Head, staying current on the latest security policies and best practices and often representing the command as a subject matter expert.
- Ensure corrective actions are implemented and appropriate training is provided to responsible personnel, while also identifying and addressing root causes to prevent recurrence.
Pay
$104,349 – $161,313 per year
