Security Site Supervisor (Overnight)
Position Overview
Securitas is seeking a professional and dependable Site Supervisor to oversee security operations at a professional administrative campus in Houston. This leadership role is responsible for supervising a small team of Security Officers, maintaining officer schedules, coordinating with the client, and ensuring the safety and security of the property. The Site Supervisor will serve as the primary point of contact for visitors after hours and help maintain a welcoming, secure, and professional environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent customer service abilities, and experience managing security operations in a professional office or campus setting.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for the client during assigned shifts.
Maintain effective and professional communication with client representatives.
Address operational concerns and communicate security-related issues promptly.
Foster positive working relationships through exceptional service and professionalism.
Supervise and support a team of Security Officers.
Create, maintain, and adjust weekly officer schedules.
Aid in staffing coverage and shift assignments.
Train and mentor officers on post procedures and expectations.
Conduct post inspections and monitor officer performance.
Ensure compliance with all site and company policies.
Monitor and control access to the property.
Verify visitors, contractors, vendors, and authorized personnel before granting access.
Maintain accurate visitor and access records.
Conduct patrols of buildings and grounds as required.
Monitor for unusual, suspicious, or unsafe activity.
Respond appropriately to incidents, emergencies, and alarms.
Complete detailed incident reports and daily activity reports.
Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
Serve as a professional first point of contact for individuals accessing the property.
Answer questions, provide directions, and assist with site-related inquiries.
Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor at all times.
Qualifications
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Must possess a valid Driver's License.
High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum 2 years of security experience.
Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
Preferred previous Site Supervisor, Shift Supervisor, Lead Officer, or Security Management experience.
Experience working in office, campus, church, school, administrative, or customer-service-oriented environments.
Experience with access control systems and visitor management procedures.
Strong computer skills and report-writing abilities.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to perform routine patrols.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle if required.
