Security Site Supervisor - Mornings

Responsibilities

• Oversight of all aspects of the security function on-site
• Staffing, scheduling, and on-site training of Allied Universal® personnel assigned to his/her site
• Maintenance of overtime to a minimal or preset requirement designated by AUSE
• Quality assurance of service and contract compliance through regular inspections of security personnel and their job performance
• Performance of other operations and related functions such as payroll, reviewing and maintaining incident reports, assisting in security surveys and post orders
• Recommendations for personnel actions for those under his/her direct supervision
• Emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders
• Direction and instruction to subordinates regarding their duties
• Disciplinary action/commendation decisions for security personnel
• Productivity and cost reduction recommendations to management
• Physical security surveys and post orders recommendations
• Disciplinary action/commendation decisions for security personnel

Qualifications (must Have)

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing
• Pass a state licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle
• Possession of one or more of the following: Service in the active-duty military, military reserves, or National Guard; Service in Auxiliary Police or Police Cadets
• Minimum of one year verifiable and successful supervisory experience in security-related industry
• Associate's degree or higher in any discipline
• At least 18 years of age, or higher if required by the state (21 years, if armed)
• Able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
• Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
• Effective oral and written communication
