Security Site Supervisor: *$20.50 - $28.50 Per Hour* - (CHANNAHON, IL)

Responsibilities

• Oversight of staffing, scheduling, and on-site training for security officers assigned to his/her shift.
• Performance of other operations and related functions such as payroll, review and maintenance of incident reports, assisting in the preparation of security surveys and post orders.
• Providing direction and instruction to security officers regarding the performance of their duties.
• Maintaining overtime to minimum or predefined levels as designated by Federal Protection Agency, Inc.
• Recommendations for positive and negative personnel actions for those under direct supervision.
• Ensuring that contract-required training and screening elements for security personnel have been met.
• Cross-training officers to enhance versatility and optimize site efficiency.
• Notifying clients of emergencies as necessary pursuant to client-specific post orders.
• Supervising and coordinating security staff activities.
• Implementing security protocols and procedures.
• Responding to incidents and emergencies as needed.
• Training security personnel on security protocols and best practices.
• De-escalating conflicts and handling difficult situations calmly.
• Making productivity and cost reduction recommendations to management.
• Making recommendations for physical security surveys and post orders.
• Regularly inspecting security personnel and their job performance.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• A current and valid driver’s license.
• An Active PERC Card.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable and successful Security Supervisor experience.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable work experience demonstrating excellent customer service skills and the ability to maintain poise and self-control during emergency situations.
