Security Shift Supervisor - Unarmed

About the role

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Shift Supervisor to work at a medical facility located in Santa Clara. The Shift Security Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift, acting as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. This role involves supervising staff, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment range.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate security services on an assigned shift.
• Act as a liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and security officers.
• Provide coaching, recognition, and discipline to staff within approved guidelines.
• Handle common and crisis situations calmly and efficiently at the client site.
• Prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Requirements

• Active CA Guard Card.
• Active State Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience.
• Security experience of one or more years.
• Intermediate to advanced technology skills.
• Level 1 Certificate (Power to Arrest and Appropriate Use of Force Certificate).
• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions.
• Must successfully complete a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test.
• For driving positions: clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months).
• Intermediate computer skills to utilize innovative, wireless technology at client-specific sites.

Pay

$30.40 per hour.

Schedule

Overnight shift: Sunday - Thursday, 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM.
