About the role

Allied Universal Services is searching for a Professional Security Shift Supervisor in Jeannette, PA. The Shift Security Supervisor supervises and coordinates the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer site, acting as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff on assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment range
• Coordinate delivery of quality security services on a specific shift
• Serve as liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and security officers
• Handle both common and crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting
• Read and understand all operating procedures and instructions
• Utilize innovative, wireless technology at client-specific sites

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience
• Security experience: 2+ years required
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills; ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the public professionally
• Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines
• Frequent walking/standing required
• Moderate/advanced technological usage required; intermediate computer skills for wireless technology
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations (may be required prior to employment)
• Background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test required
• Driver’s license with at least one year driving experience, clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months), minimum insurance per company policy, and ability to safely operate a vehicle (for driving positions)
• Driver’s record check may be required

Pay

Full-time, $20.94 per hour. Paid weekly.

Schedule

Open availability required. Up to 40 hours per week. Weekends included in schedule.
