Security Shift Supervisor - Healthcare

Responsibilities

• Aid hospital staff with de-escalation of patient situations.
• Restrain combative individuals as necessary (within company and customer guidelines).
• Transport deceased patients to the morgue, as needed.
• Escort patients from helicopter pad to the emergency room.
• Oversee all aspects of the security function on-site.
• Maintain staffing, scheduling, and on-site training for Allied Universal® personnel.
• Ensure contract-required training and screening elements for security personnel are met.
• Inspect security personnel and their job performance.
• Make recommendations for positive and negative personnel actions.
• Respond to client requests.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary.
• Provide direction and instruction to subordinates.
• Make productivity and cost reduction recommendations.
• Make recommendations for physical security surveys and post orders.
• Make recommendations concerning disciplinary action/commendation decisions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of verifiable and successful supervisory experience.
• Valid drivers license for at least 1 year.
• Proficiency in using computers and tablets.
• Exceptional customer service and communications skills.
• Comfortable performing foot patrol routes requiring standing and walking for long periods.
• CPR certification and active PILB guard card preferred.
