Security Shift Supervisor Food Market
About the role
The Security Shift Supervisor will oversee and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer. They will act as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for the assigned shift, ensuring all security protocols are followed and maintained.
- Supervise and coach professional security officers, providing feedback and disciplinary actions within the approved empowerment range.
- Communicate effectively with the Account Manager/Field Operations Manager and Site Supervisor to ensure alignment on service delivery goals and objectives.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and logs, including incident reports and performance evaluations.
- Handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently, ensuring the safety and security of the assigned area.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner.
- Initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
- Neat, legible handwriting for preparing written reports and logs.
- Frequent preparation of written reports and logs.
- Licenses and certifications required by state and local laws and regulations.
- Valid driver's license with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to operate a vehicle safely.
- Intermediate computer skills to utilize innovative, wireless technology at client-specific sites.
- Ability to work in various environments, including cold weather, rain/snow, or heat.
- Occasional lifting or carrying up to 40 pounds.
- Climbing stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift.
- Standing or walking on various surfaces for long periods of time.

Schedule
Shifts available: 2pm - 10pm
Workdays available: Candidates should be flexible Monday – Sunday
