About the Role

Allied Universal Services is seeking a Professional Security Shift Supervisor to supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer site. The Shift Security Supervisor will act as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers while supervising staff on the assigned shift.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate security services on a designated shift.
  • Provide coaching, recognition, and discipline to staff within approved empowerment range.
  • Prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
  • Handle common and crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently.
  • Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Act as a liaison between site supervisors, account managers, and security officers.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of personnel and the public.
  • Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
  • Must be able to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions.
  • Licensing requirements vary by state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
  • For driving positions: valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience, clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months), and minimum insurance as required by Company policy.
  • Must successfully complete a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test; may be required to pass a Driver’s Record check.
  • Intermediate computer skills to utilize innovative, wireless technology at client-specific sites.
