Security Shift Supervisor - Commercial Building

About the role

Allied Universal is seeking Security Shift Supervisors to manage a Commercial Building in the Hudson Yards area of Manhattan. Positions are full-time, available Monday through Sunday, and offer flexible shifts including morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer.
• Act as a liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers.
• Provide coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment range.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Minimum of five years of security experience.
• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to operate a vehicle.
• Intermediate computer skills to utilize innovative, wireless technology at client-specific sites.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in various environments, lift up to 40 pounds, climb stairs, ramps, or ladders, stand or walk for long periods, and handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently.

Pay

$37.54 - $38.54 / hour

Schedule

Monday - Sunday, flexible shifts including morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight.

Driving Positions

Must possess a valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle.
