Security Shift Supervisor

About the role

Allied Universal® is North America’s leading security and facility services company. The Professional Security Shift Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer, acting as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff on the assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment range.
• Coordinate delivery of quality security services for the assigned customer.
• Serve as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and security officers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact professionally with all personnel and the public.
• Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Proficiency in preparing written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
• Ability to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions.
• Licensing requirements may be required per state or local laws.
• Valid driver’s license with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 36 months, no more than one accident in the last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in the last 24 months), and required insurance.
• Successful completion of a background investigation and a post‑offer/pre‑employment drug/alcohol test; may be required to pass a driver’s record check.
• Intermediate computer skills to utilize innovative, wireless technology at client sites.
• Ability to handle both common and crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Physical ability to work in various environments (cold, rain/snow, heat), lift or carry up to 40 pounds, climb stairs/ramps/ladders occasionally, and stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods.

Pay

$29.40 per hour
