Security Shift Supervisor

Job Summary

Allied Universal Services is seeking a Professional Security Shift Supervisor. Starting pay is $21.75 per hour, rotating shifts from Friday to Tuesday, 4:00 pm to 12:00 am. A valid NYS driver's license and six months of security experience are required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer.
• Act as a liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers.
• Serve as a coach, recognizer, and disciplinarian for staff on the assigned shift, within the approved empowerment range.

Qualifications/Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional manner.
• Ability to frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
• Read and understand all operating procedures and instructions.
• Licenses and certifications are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Must have a valid driver's license with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record, appropriate insurance, and the ability to operate a vehicle safely.
• Intermediate computer skills to utilize innovative, wireless technology at client-specific sites.
• Handle both common and crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
