Security Shift Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Provide front desk/lobby security for tenants and visitors
• Manage visitor check-in and badge issuance
• Maintain clear and effective communication with site and Company staff
• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises
• Operate and monitor surveillance equipment to ensure the security of the premises
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents and take appropriate action
• Provide escort services for contractors and visitors as needed
• Support client service requests and contractor oversight
• Respond to medical emergencies, fire alarms, and security incidents

Work Environment

• Great American Tower (42+ floors)
• 303 Building (17+ floors)
• 11-story parking garage (approx. 1 million sq. ft.)
• Lobby desks
• Rover patrols
• Dock operations

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills
• High school diploma or GED
• Excellent Verbal and Written Communication
• Security supervisory or command center experience
• Basic computer proficiency (Excel, Outlook, and security systems)
• Ability to multi-task and remain professional under pressure
• High level of reliability and punctuality

Scheduling & Availability

• Must be available for weekends and holidays
• May be required to stay beyond scheduled shift (up to 4 additional hours)
• May include weekend or holiday shifts

Physical Requirements

• Ability to walk 6–10 miles per shift
• Ability to stand up to 6 hours at a time
• Comfortable navigating stairs and large facilities
• Ability to work around heights and high-rise environments
• Pushing/pulling/carrying and lifting may include up to 50 lbs.

Appearance & Professional Standards

• Natural hair colors only
• No extreme hairstyles (e.g., mohawks)
• No visible tattoos on face, neck, or hands
• Black uniform footwear required
• Neatly groomed facial hair permitted
