Security Sergeant in LIberty, NC

About the role

Step up from officer to front-line supervisor at Toyota’s battery manufacturing plant in Liberty, NC. The Security Sergeant is the first formal leadership step in our Security Department, setting the tone for every shift, every post, and every officer on the floor.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise security officers across field posts and patrol operations
• Conduct roll call, post inspections, and field patrols to maintain quality control
• Serve as the initial on-scene supervisor for incidents, alarms, and emergencies
• Ensure accurate, on-time incident and reflection reporting
• Coach and mentor officers on Toyota standards and Marksman professionalism

Requirements

• 2+ years in security, law enforcement, or military — supervisory experience preferred
• Valid NC security license (or ability to obtain) and a valid driver’s license
• Front-line leadership — you hold the standard without losing the team
• Systems fluency — Lenel, Perspective, X-Protect, WinTeam, MS Office
• Attention to detail — post orders, logs, and reports done right the first time

Pay

$22.00 per hour plus a $50.00 bonus for having a North Carolina Security License at hire (redeemable after completion of a 90-day probation period).

• Toyota and Marksman supervisory and emergency response training (ICS 100/200/700/800)
• Defined path to Lieutenant, Assistant Security Chief, and Security Chief
