Responsibilities
- Perform all duties assigned to Security Officers, including patrols, unlocking and securing buildings, responding to calls for service, providing break coverage, and completing all other assigned post responsibilities.
- Serve as the senior Allied Universal representative on site during assigned shifts and provide operational support to on-duty personnel.
- Promote compliance with company policy, post orders, and client expectations through professional guidance and communication.
- Completing administrative work such as printing extra copies of DARs and paper time sheets.
POST CHECKS
- Conduct routine post checks of all assigned officers, including regularly assigned officers and special detail officers.
- During post checks: Verify officers are in the required uniform in accordance with client and company standards.
- Verify officers possess a valid guard card while on duty.
- Ensure officers are performing assigned duties in accordance with post orders and site procedures.
- Provide reminders regarding site procedures, required training, guard card renewals, driving credentials, and other operational updates.
- Submit a post check summary to management at the end of each shift documenting completed post checks, operational observations, deficiencies, coaching provided, and any issues requiring follow-up.
STAFFING and SHIFT COVERAGE
- Assist with staffing coverage during evenings, weekends, and other periods when management is not on site.
- Clock in and out for your shifts and ensure you are logged in to the shift pickup platform.
- Coordinate with Disney Shift Lead to identify call-offs, staffing needs, and special detail assignments.
- Review the Special Details and Events calendar to verify coverage for upcoming shifts and scheduled details.
- Add any changes to the Special Detail binder and inform the Shift Lead.
- Makes reasonable efforts to fill vacancies while minimizing overtime and double-time whenever operationally practical.
- If coverage cannot be secured, notify management immediately.
- When reporting a call-off, include the officer's name, shift date and time, reason for the absence (if provided), and the replacement officer, if applicable.
- If a vacancy occurs during your assigned shift and relief cannot be obtained, remain on duty until properly relieved or directed otherwise by management.
Requirements
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
- Licenses: Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
- Background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
- At least 18 years of age, or higher if required by the state (21 years, if armed).
- Reliable and able to adapt to different post assignments.
- Able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors.
- Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public.
- Effective oral and written communication skills; able to write informatively, clearly, and accurately.
- Active listening and problem-solving skills.
- Absorb and assess situations effectively; identify critical issues quickly and accurately.
- Mediate conflict with tact, diplomacy.

Qualifications
- (Nice to have) Ability to speak, read, and write in multiple languages (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, French, Arabic).
- Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience.
