Security Screener Day Shift

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with badge or entry procedures when required, and communicate with site contacts regarding security-related issues.
• Prepare clear, accurate documentation of patrols, incidents, and/or daily activities, and support requested follow-up with supervisors and/or local authorities when appropriate.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include:

• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
