About the role
The Security/Safety Officer is responsible for maintaining a secure environment at the Juvenile Probation/Resource Center.
Responsibilities
- Maintain security protocols and procedures
- Monitor facility perimeter and interior spaces
- Respond to emergencies and incidents
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Interact with staff and residents in a professional manner
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid California driver’s license
- One year of experience in a security-related field
- Basic computer skills
Qualifications
- Knowledge of juvenile justice system
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Skills
- First aid/CPR certification
- Background in law enforcement or security preferred
