Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patrols of the museum's galleries and facilities, monitoring for any irregularities or unauthorized activities.
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances promptly.
- Monitor premises to prevent and address harmful activities, ensuring the execution of security and safety responsibilities.
- Perform comprehensive safety inspections throughout the campus.
- Conduct lockdowns (detailed checks of buildings) to ensure optimal security measures are maintained.
- Document both injury-related and non-injury incidents.
- Implement appropriate emergency responses to fire, safety, and access procedures (door alarms, Fike panels, condensation).
- React appropriately in emergency and high stress situations.
Requirements
- Ability to read and comprehend directions, instructions, and memorandums.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally.
- Ability to adapt to prolonged standing, walking, and stairclimbing.
- Valid Indiana Driver’s License.

Qualifications
