Security Response Operations Manager

About the role

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Security Response Operations Manager. As a Security Response Operations Manager, you will oversee physical security operations by developing strategies, implementing policies, managing security staff, and responding to incidents to protect assets and personnel. Strong communication skills are needed for interacting with staff, management, and external partners. The role is based in Detroit, Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the premises to ensure security
• Training, supervising, and evaluating Security Personnel
• Managing schedules and performance reviews
• Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a Security team
• Must be available for any situations
• Control access points and verify identities
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security
• Write detailed reports on events and incidents
• Collaborate with authorities during serious situations
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Able to provide proof of resume with management qualifications
• 2+ years of security management in an industrial site setting
• Valid driver's license
• Experience working in a union environment
• Ability to provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED
• Able to ace and pass an extensive screening process
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations
• Responsive and strong problem‑solving skills
• Military or law enforcement experience – a plus
• Must be 21 years of age

Pay

Competitive hourly wage of $30.65 per hour (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees)

Schedule

Set schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:00 pm, 40 hours per week
