Security Response - On Call

About the role

As a Flex On‑Call Security Officer (Response) you will adapt to changing missions—customer service, patrols, surveillance—depending on the day and special event. The position is based in East Metro Detroit, MI (Sterling Heights) and requires you to embrace change and thrive in fast‑paced environments. Responsibilities

• Monitor the premises to ensure security
• Conduct patrols to spot any suspicious activity
• Control access points and verify identities
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security
• Write detailed reports on events and incidents
• Collaborate with authorities during serious situations
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to provide documentation of a High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to pass an extensive screening process
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations
• Responsive and strong problem‑solving skills
• Security, military, or law‑enforcement experience is a plus
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must pass a 10‑year moving vehicle record check
• Must pass a drug screen

Pay

Competitive hourly wage of $19.05 (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees).

Schedule

Set schedule: weekends, 2nd, and 3rd shifts; the shift varies and will be discussed during the interview. There is no guaranteed schedule—hours vary.
