Security Response Officer - Active DoD Clearance Required

About the role

As a Security Response Officer with an active DoD clearance in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as aerospace and defense. This part-time, unarmed driving position requires routine patrols, incident response, and exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site requirements, directing visitors and contractors to appropriate check-in procedures.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, observations, and unusual conditions accurately and promptly, communicating relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Requirements

• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 18 years of age (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation, drug screen, and compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$27.57 per hour.

Schedule

• Saturday: 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM
• Sunday: 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM
