Security Professional Flex Officer- Warehouse PT

About the role

The Security Guard position requires open availability and must be 21 years of age or older. Security experience is mandatory, along with great customer service skills. Applicants must be able to stand/walk for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols on foot or in vehicle
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions
• Sound alarms or call police/fire department in emergencies
• Monitor entrances and exits, warn violators of rules, and investigate incidents
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors courteously
• Make emergency notifications as necessary

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and 5 years of verifiable experience
• Licenses required vary by state/local laws
• Must have valid driver’s license for company vehicles
• Background check and drug screening required
• At least 18 years old, or higher if required by state (21 years if armed)
• Reliable and adaptable to different post assignments
• Ability to operate radio/telephone equipment and/or console monitors
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to assess and evaluate situations quickly
