Security- PRN

Responsibilities

• Handles incoming calls to the facility switchboard taking care to speak in a professional and courteous manner.
• Observes and enforces the security policies and procedures outlined in the facility's security manual.
• Makes secured all areas per facility policy to ensure the security of the residents, staff and facility property.
• Completes for each shift and gives complete verbal report to oncoming security personnel.
• Completes incident report of any and all unusual events during shift.
• Places a copy incident report in the mailbox of the Director of Facility Services and the Administrator.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Some experience in security preferred.
• Maintain neat, well-groomed appearance, adhering to dress code of the facility.
• Wears Uniform at all times.
• Maintain safety while performing all essential job functions without harm to self or others, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Satisfy all established licensing and certification requirements applicable to this job position.
• Comply with facility's drug testing and substance abuse policies and programs.

• Must be able to use the English language to satisfy the communications and record keeping requirements involved in the performance of this job position, with or without accommodation.
