Security Practices Director

Location: New York, NY – US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Compensation: $205,800 – $298,400 annually.

About the role

This role will lead technical work focused on secure, reliable systems and risk-aware execution. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end security engagements for enterprise customers on the company platform.
• Advise on security controls and governance frameworks within the company’s architecture.
• Collaborate with account teams for pre-sales efforts and executive presentations.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior security stakeholders, interpreting the company mechanics.
• Develop methodologies and assets related to the company security best practices.
• Contribute to thought leadership and mentoring within the security practice.
• Work with Product, Engineering, and Trust teams to stay current on the company security advancements.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on the company Platform expertise including org architecture, data model, and customization.
• 7-12+ years of professional experience with a focus on security roles.
• Background in security controls frameworks like NIST CSF or ISO 27001, specific to the company.
• Proven track record in leading client-facing the company assessments and implementations.
• Strong pre-sales abilities and comfort presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Experience in delivering security assessments and compliance readiness engagements on the company the company certifications, particularly in security and administration, are strongly preferred.
