Security (PKI) Engineer

Responsibilities

• Proactively design and deployment of all PKI solutions
• Administer and support core technologies (e.g. Venafi, Luna HSM, Certificate platform)
• Implement monitoring, configuration management and reporting functions
• Aid in defining and documenting best practices and support procedures
• Maintain certificate inventory and asset configuration documentation
• Stay current with technological developments in systems administration technology and recommend ways to take advantage of new technology
• Assist in conducting research and making recommendations on Windows Server / VMWARE / Unix / Linux / Storage / Recovery products, services, protocols, and standards
• Respond to as needed and work to resolve all critical incidents
• Work closely with various business users to define solutions that meet user expectations
• Aid in identifying improvement opportunities and facilitate innovation

Qualifications

• Strong people skills and the ability to balance a large workload
• Experience with advanced PKI technologies and platforms
• Knowledge of Windows Server, VMWARE, Unix, Linux, Storage, and Recovery products, services, protocols, and standards
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to diverse audiences
• Experience with impact analyses, research products, configuring software, establishing standards and procedures
• Experience with root cause analysis and driving preventive actions
• Ability to participate in on-call production support rotations

Benefits

• Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 per year
