Security Patrol Officer - Railroads

About the role

GardaWorld Security Services is now hiring a Tactical Security Officer in Needles, CA. The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $22 per hour with DailyPay, comprehensive benefits, and a 401(k) retirement plan. The shift is 40 hours per week, Sunday through Wednesday and Friday, from 9 PM to 5:30 AM, third shift.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license
• At least 21 years of age
• First aid certification (asset)
• Standing and walking for the entire shift
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience (preferred)
• State security license (BSIS Guard Card) and additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings (additional training can be obtained during the hiring process)

Skills

Essential skills include physical ability, keen observation, quick reaction to threats, and ability to document incidents. Additional skills such as first aid certification and previous security, military, or law enforcement experience are preferred.
