Security Patrol Officer Full Time

About the role

As a Full Time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer in New Castle, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and other individuals by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, behavioral health-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions requiring attention.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directing individuals to appropriate locations, and report unauthorized entry attempts or unusual activity to designated personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding incidents, patrols, and observed conditions while maintaining a respectful, professional presence in a healthcare environment.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to lift more than 20 pounds (preferred).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Day shift: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM (Monday through Thursday)
