Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and/or disturbances, and report observations to site management and appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and communicating with management, law enforcement, and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Assist with access control, customer and associate escorts, and documentation of incidents, patrols, and security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour
Job Schedule: DayTime
Mon: 12:00 PM - 06:00 PM
