Security - Part-Time Weekends
Reports to: Security Supervisor, Plant Director • Department: Security Services • FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Schedule
Saturday & Sunday / 7am - 7pm / Alternating every-other-weekend
Pay
Hourly Rate: $13 - $14
Responsibilities
- Makes scheduled rounds both inside and outside the buildings to maintain a secure environment for residents and their property as well as company property.
- Responds to all fire alarms and apartment emergency calls.
- Accomplishes all work in the order of priority set by supervisor.
- Performs light maintenance as time allows such as changing light bulbs, touch up painting and similar assignments.
- Maintains all tools, equipment and supplies in proper condition.
- Attends in-service training and education session, as assigned.
- Transports residents and visitors between buildings during functions.
- Occasional off-campus transportation as needed.
- Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
- Verifies the scheduled presence of all employees and third-party contractors on the grounds.
Requirements
- High School diploma/GED.
- Minimum of one-year experience in security or peacekeeping area.
- Security License.
- Current Driver’s License; CDL preferred.
- Good driving record; ability to meet Company’s auto insurance requirements.
- Must meet Carillon’s insurance company requirements on maximum traffic violations.
Skills
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
- Skilled in the use of all appropriate machinery, tools, and security supplies.
- Understanding of general security and safety practices.
