About the role
The PSOC Watch Officer plays a critical role in supporting a 24/7 security operations environment, overseeing the physical security of multiple sites. This position involves monitoring surveillance systems, managing access control, and responding to alarms, incidents, and other security concerns.
Responsibilities
- Maintain detailed logs and documentation
- Handle email and phone triage
- Manage escalations
- Support unannounced audits
- Prepare reports
- Use tools like Microsoft Copilot for efficiency
- Brief incoming shifts
- Carry out administrative or special tasks assigned by management
Requirements
- A high school diploma and 2+ years of experience in a Security Operations Center
- Background in datacenters is a plus
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Comfortable with working on a computer using Microsoft Office applications
Qualifications
- Physical and mental ability to perform all essential job functions effectively
- Regular use of a computer and keyboard
- Frequent lifting or moving of items up to 10 pounds
- Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds
- Visual acuity for both near and far distances
- The ability to adjust focus

Pay
The hourly wage is $26.50 per hour, based on the Greater San Antonio Area.
Schedule
