Security Operations Center Engineer III

About the role

The Security Operations Center Engineer III is responsible for monitoring and responding to security incidents, maintaining security systems, and providing technical support to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of company data.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate security systems and tools
• Respond to and investigate security incidents
• Provide technical support to address system issues
• Document findings and recommendations for improvement

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT operations or cybersecurity
• Experience with SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Windows/Linux operating systems and network protocols

Qualifications

• CISSP certification preferred
• Experience with incident response procedures
• Knowledge of data encryption and secure communications

• Technical proficiency in cybersecurity tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
