Job Details Position Details We're hiring experienced Security Officers for corporate locations Pay: $18/hourSign-On Bonus: $500 (ONLY Alliance New Hires are Eligible, Restrictions Apply)Location: Premier commercial properties in Stamford, CTSchedules: Full Time & Weekends Shifts: Day, Afternoon, Overnight Responsibilities Maintain a strong and visible presence to ensure safety and security.Monitor and control access points, ensuring only authorized personnel enter designated areas.Provide exceptional customer service by assisting guests with directions, inquiries, and general assistance.Conduct routine patrols and inspections of the premises to detect and deter any suspicious or unauthorized activity.Respond promptly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, and alarms, following established protocols.Collaborate with local law enforcement, emergency services, and other security personnel as needed.Document and report all incidents, observations, and actions taken during shifts.Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times, reflecting the values of our organization. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year Security Officer experienceValid CT Security Guard License that will not expire within 3 monthsStrong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively Demonstrate high level customer service skills, including the ability to professionally handle difficult situationsAbility to stand and patrol outside, no matter the weather or temperatureExcellent observation and problem-solving abilities to identify potential security risks and take appropriate actionPhysical fitness and ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods, as well as lift and carry heavy objects when requiredIntegrity, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility towards ensuring the safety and well-being of guests and staffHigh school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant certifications or training in security or guest services will be an advantage #SR1 Certification Requirements Connecticut Security Guard LicenseCT Security Guard License Additional Information / Benefits Paid Holidays401K/403b PlanShort Term DisabilityDental InsurancePaid VacationSpecial Incentive PlansPaid Sick DaysVision InsuranceMedical Insurance This position reports to Security Operations.
