About the Role

Securitas is hiring for multiple Security Officers to keep our client site safe in Jaffrey, NH.

Schedule

• Part-Time, Full-Time, or Per-Diem ("as needed") depending on availability
• Current Openings:
  • Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm
  • Saturday and Sunday, 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm
  • Sundays 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
  • Friday and Saturday OVERNIGHTS, 11:00 pm - 7:00 am
• When interviewing, please indicate to your Recruiter which shifts you are interested in working
• Must be able to work weekends

Pay

$21.72/hr

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to client facilities
• Perform regular patrols in a retail mall setting to ensure the safety and security of assigned areas
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, including medical, fire, and other incidents
• Enforce security protocols, policies, and procedures
• Prepare and submit detailed incident and daily activity reports
• Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and emergency personnel
• Provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and clients
• Conduct inspections and maintain equipment as required
• Assist in risk assessments and proactive measures to enhance security

Qualifications

• Excellent observational and de-escalation skills; able to remain calm under pressure
• Robust experience in customer service, law enforcement, security, and/or military roles are strongly preferred
• Strong communication skills and comfortable with engaging in difficult conversations
• Committed to ethical practices and following all safety protocols, always maintaining a safe and respectful approach
• Basic to moderate computer skills required
• MUST be comfortable standing and walking for long periods of time
• Prior experience working in reception or an administrative position is highly preferred

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Reliable means of communication and transportation
• Legal right to work in the United States
• Ability to effectively speak, read and write English
• MUST have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Ability to complete all pre-employment requirements prior to starting
• No Security Experience Required
