As a Security Officer X-Ray Screener in PHOENIX, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help support screening activities, monitor access points, and observe assigned areas for security-related concerns. Schedule

Daytime shifts: Monday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Tuesday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Wednesday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Saturday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Sunday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen people, packages, and/or personal property entering or leaving the location in accordance with established post orders and client-directed procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Monitor entry points, shipping and receiving areas, and/or other designated locations to help support authorized access and orderly operations within the facility.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned, noting unusual activity, facility issues, and/or policy violations in a logistics and distribution environment.

Requirements

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
