Security Officer with Active Clearance Part Time Unarmed Patrol

About the role

As a Part-Time Security Officer with an active clearance, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as aerospace and defense in El Segundo, CA. This unarmed patrol role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you using our Claim a Shift platform. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service in a professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report access-related concerns following site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Active DoD Top Secret Clearance (required).
• Guard Card or license (preferred).
• CPR and/or First Aid certification (preferred).
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation, drug screen, and compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

Pay

$40.20 per hour.

Schedule

• Tuesday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sunday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
