Security Officer with Active Clearance Full Time

About the role

As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location in Moorestown, NJ, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at an aerospace and defense billing operations location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and notifications to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, building exteriors, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol findings, access-control activity, and other security-related observations.

Requirements

• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$19.36 / hour

Schedule

• Monday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Friday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Saturday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sunday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
