Security Officer - Weekends Part Time

About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, and staff while using technology to document security-related activity. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the commercial real estate location, including building interiors, exterior areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unusual conditions or maintenance concerns, and help to deter unauthorized activity through a professional presence.
- Document daily activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Qualifications
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.

$21.00 / Hour

- Saturday: 06:30 PM - 06:30 AM
- Sunday: 06:30 PM - 06:30 AM
