Security Officer Weekend Lobby Access Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by greeting visitors, screening access at the front desk, and following site-specific security-related procedures for a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry activity, verify credentials, manage visitor logs, and communicate with site contacts regarding arrivals, deliveries, and/or questions at the reception area.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Support front desk operations by answering phones, directing guests, documenting daily activity, and reporting security-related concerns according to Allied Universal and site policies.

Requirements

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement for unarmed roles: 18 years old.
• Minimum age requirement for armed roles: 21 years old.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses may be required prior to employment based on state and/or local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
