As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and support security-related procedures. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points at a logistics and distribution location; verify credentials, authorize entry in accordance with site procedures, and maintain visitor and vehicle access records.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly communicate observations to site contacts and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading zones, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Assist with traffic flow and driver check-in procedures in accordance with site policies, escalating unusual activity or access discrepancies to appropriate personnel.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Schedule

Saturday: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM; Sunday: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
