$19.00 / Hour
Job Schedule
Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Monitor and control access to logistics and distribution areas by verifying credentials, managing visitor and contractor entry, and documenting arrivals and departures.
- Screen inbound and outbound vehicles, shipments, and personnel in accordance with established site procedures; report irregularities to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, loading areas, warehouse spaces, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least two years of security-related experience is required.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
