The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client's employees and customers. See a different world.

Responsibilities

• Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel
• Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain
• Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds

Requirements

• Driver certification required; must have valid OH driver's license
• Must have strong customer service skills
• Ability to complete patrols
• Strong technology skills (cell phone/computer)
• Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard
• Must pass drug screen and background check

Qualifications

• Prior security/customer service experience is a plus
• No experience necessary; retail, food service or hospitality industry background is a great fit; training provided
