Security Officer Warehouse

About the role

As a Security Officer Warehouse in Goleta, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. This role is ideal for someone who is agile, reliable, and committed to teamwork and integrity while responding to security-related concerns and assisting employees, guests, and visitors throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting and reporting unusual activity and/or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific protocols.
• Complete routine reports and communicate relevant observations, incidents, and/or concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• The ability to use a computer or tablet comfortably is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
