About the role

As a Security Officer Visitor Services Driver in Newton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. This part-time, driving post requires a valid driver’s license in the job state. You will welcome visitors, manage access credentials, monitor entry activity, and provide professional customer service at a manufacturing and industrial location.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures and access-control protocols.
• Greet visitors at the front desk, verify identification and appointments, issue visitor credentials, and direct guests according to established procedures.
• Monitor entry activity, maintain accurate visitor and contractor logs, and communicate access concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Support a professional front-desk environment by answering phones, providing general information, and reporting security-related observations or unusual activity.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$18.93 / hour
