Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Monitor front desk activity, greet and direct incoming guests, verify identification and/or credentials, and help to control access in accordance with post instructions.
• Answer phones, document visitor and delivery information, maintain accurate front desk logs, and report unusual activity, concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, calls for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating clearly with staff, visitors, and/or emergency responders.
• Support a professional lobby presence by observing entry areas, helping to deter unauthorized access, and following Allied Universal protocols for security-related matters.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
