About the role
As a Security Officer Visitor Access Driver in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Commercial Real Estate. You will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, assist visitors and tenants, and help deter security-related incidents through a visible, professional presence. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and staff by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes as directed, and maintain accurate access-related records.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of building common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify and report security-related concerns.
- Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, and emergency responders while supporting a welcoming and orderly environment.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements (C123).
- A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
