Job Description

As a Security Officer Visitor Access Control in Santa Ana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a premier commercial real estate location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will serve as a visible, professional presence that helps deter security-related incidents while supporting a caring, people-first environment.

What You'll Do

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Staff the front desk and serve as a professional point of contact, greeting visitors, verifying access authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining visitor records in accordance with location procedures.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and/or other security-related systems from a stationary post; report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, or unauthorized access attempts to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and emergency response procedures.
• Maintain clear and accurate logs, complete required reports, and communicate professionally with building management, tenants, vendors, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
