About the role

As a Security Officer Vehicle Entry in Ontario, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Security Officer at a retail distribution location, you will manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support security-related operations. Position details

• Position Type: Full Time
• Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour
• Schedule: DayTime, Monday through Thursday, 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, delivery drivers, and/or associates by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a retail distribution location, verify credentials and authorized access, and document visitor, vendor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations to site leadership and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and access-control records while following Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
