Security Officer Unarmed Rover

About the role

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and activities according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, warehouse areas, trailer lots, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and help to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas, loading zones, and other designated locations.
• Support daily operations by communicating with site contacts, reporting maintenance or access concerns, and following post orders related to deliveries, shipping activity, and after-hours procedures.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications
