What You'll Do

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through established channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, helping to control entry and/or exit while maintaining professional interactions with employees, contractors, and guests.
• Support site operations by communicating with local leadership and/or first responders when needed, following post orders and security-related protocols for the location.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
